We visited the Sydney Mines Fossil Centre. It has mainly plant fossils and three trilobites. The person working there was called Riley and was very friendly and he know all about the fossils. It has a gift shop and they sell crystals!

This new article says Megalodon shark was bigger than previously thought.  They now think it was at least 16 metres long -the same almost as one and a half school buses! So big a Megalodon could eat a whale in five bites! It could have eaten an orca in only

Here's a map of the world showing where dinosaurs (and other fossils) have been found. Each dot was were a fossil has been discovered. In Nova Scotia it looks like there were lots of trilobites! A trilobite was an extinct sea creature like the one below:

This spinosaurus I drew myself. They have stuff on their mouth that helps them feel fish in the water so they can grab them and eat them.
